jodoh itu rahsia Allah

Jodoh itu rahsia Allah..

SELAMA mana anda setia...
SEHEBAT mana anda merancang...
SEDETIK lebih anda menunggu...
SETABAH mana anda bersabar...
SEJUJUR mana anda menerima dirinya...

Jika ALLAH Tidak Menulis Jodoh Anda Bersama Si Dia, Anda Tetap Tidak Akan Bersama.

i found this on someone's fb status so i thought of writing something related.

cousin of mine, named SHE who's wedding is suppose to be in next week (20th Jan 2012), gotta find out her 6 years boyfie of beloved fiance is actually someone's else's husband couples of days before. now how's that? Can one imagine the wound SHE's bearing right now? It's like life salvaging. A totally terror wash out. No any sane living woman would want to continue the matrimonial in given circumstance i suppose. So SHE made up her mind vividly clear, no more drawback to call off the wedding.

With all the preps 90% done, invitations sent out to neighbours and friends, event's created on fb, house were even painted new.. what is there left for her except for tears being in deep cut. The morning SHE broke the news (on Tuesday), i couldn't help holding tears myself. In the first place i thought SHE was making up craps (since the wedding is nearing so i thought SHE might have caught the wedding bug syndrome). But way to my disappointment, nothing of a kind. It's the hurting truth she's prevailing.

I am still dumbstruck in awe, fail to believe it's happening. After all this time, ramblings of a girl dating another girls' husband or -  i only see the story lines on TV, never came across to mind that it'll happen in the family. poor SHE. Courage and utmost support is all she need from family and friends. To SHE, i know it's easy said than done but believe me, Allah knows best! Allah has made plans for you. All you need to do is keep walking and never look back. InsyaAllah the rainbow prevails after all the rain sheds.

Jodoh itu adalah rahsia Allah..

harboured love

Coming back home late last night, mom decided for a decent family dinner. On her, she said. *that's lovely, i thought so*. Nowadays, siblings are all grown up, you'll find it tough to get everybody sits together except for it was earlier planned. It's either one will be back late for dinner or the other one engaged on meeting friends at mamak. I mean, how often do we call our brother/sister to ask how well have they been doing. Perplexed eye, to us they may seem fine, but how can you be sure? *i think i began value family even more once i have had one of my own*

So since it was the full house home last night, mom made up the place for us. Yeayyy. Catching up times. I just love being surrounded with loved ones. You can almost feel the vibe and intensity you once had for them.

Full-house keeping up the sanity contented.

glorious food trigger happiness for the night.

everybody got to taste a pinch to each serving. Spread the love.

No matter how high we've climb the ladder in life, always always root back to family.

japan quake: to ponder upon

The 8.9 magnitude quake indeed touched my heart in many ways. the entire world went shocked by the massive quake strikes the coast of japan causing devastating damages, tsunami, and very recent radioactive heat crippled. too much to swallow. Thousands of people were left dead or missing. Heart-wrenching seeing the people seeking for food to strives hunger and shelter to keep warm.

source pix: CNN.

Thank to Allah, my dear bff dena, cousin ida & hubby, ca, and murni & family were safe and unharmed from the disaster amid how devastated it was. May Allah continue giving them strength to survive the coming quake (Japan has forecast more aftershocks quake).

I am nobody to comment on what the mother nature has done. All i wanted to share is about the pride and dignity the Japanese posses at all time unlikely to the Malaysian. Too sad. From the pictures being reported on tv, I often wonder, how do the Japanese cope to such catastrophe. How can they be so calm?  Unlike other disasters where the world has observed looting, rioting and public outbursts of sorrow and rage, its people standing patiently for hours in orderly lines for a few bottles of water and food.

source pix: CNN

From my humble reading, according to Kyung Lah, of CNN, "At stores across the city, long straight lines of Japanese tsunami victims queeing for rations. No one is directing these lines; they're organized by the people themselves. No pushes whatsoever. At the front, which takes hours to get to in some cases, shoppers are limited to 10 food or beverage items. No complaints, no cheating. He further added, When asked what happens if the city does run out of bottled water supplies, Maki states simply, "What can we do?"

The image of Malaysians pushing and shoving one another on the "Lori Beras Terbalik" incident came into picture. Pathetic.

Emperor Akihito quoted claiming "These world leaders also say their citizens are impressed with how calm the Japanese people have remained, how they are helping each other and how organized they are. I think it is important that we share the difficult days and overcome this disaster,"

Furthermore,

Robert Emmet, a British Expat said from one of the tweet, "Apart from it being eerily quiet, things are still everything seems to be normal in Tokyo. Everyone is very calm here, there is no sense of panic."

See... the Japanese potrays a very good example of a civilized society. Of course the Japanese are hurting from what had happened, but they are mourning quietly. I personally believe, the Japanese will soon regain and slowly picking up the momentum.

in light for a new hope

This entry is just my humble point of view.

mother in law

creepy, no?

aha.. to those who's about to embark marriage, you must be worried sick what sane being your mother in law (MIL) will be as a person. you'll then scratch your head thinking of what to wear to meet MIL for the first time, look into the mirror several times and went saying "mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest amongst all?" aha, you'll also find the clock ticks super quick.

i remember my time when boyfriend (now husband) exclaimed his offer to come over to his place for meeting the parents. meeting the parents you allll! boyfriend once told me, he'll never take any single women in life to home, except for the BECOMING WIFE. So, there i was, perplexed shut. i found out the heart beat losses it's rhythm. but at the same time, i'm in cloud above 9 :p weeee. so high.

meet the parents. i savor in glee and put on my sweetest smile. (during the FAT-much much less days)

Lucky for me, I have people I love in my life who keep reminding me on things. On my early twenty years (now late twenty sudah), abah went knock knock early morning, "kak long, dah sembahyang subuh? dah lewat ni" (i opened my eye mumbling uhh ok and quickly swan in the duvet again, duhhh). And it was just yesterday mom ring me up "... and before that, you know kan the book 'Doctor in the House' released? go get one copy for your reading. You read and you'll learn".. yeah, they have always been the pillars in my life. (the husband tooo of course!)

I always believe that you deserve who you end up with; the good will be with the good, and vice versa.

my MIL is one beautiful and very very very understanding! (yes, i had to put it that way cause she's sooo is!). and i am one lucky person on earth to earned such. i thank Allah. One had always say, whenever we are married, we must always remember that we are "married" to the family too. Treat his family like our own family.

whenever we spent rows of nights at the in law's place, I'm all void from cooking. She does it all. She even prepare breakfast for us. She claims, taking care of a Adam is the prime i'm abide to at this point.  Adam needed me most.(Adam roam for like every seconds!) Even if Adam's asleep, she make me go to sleep too. All well, i received an overwhelming love from her. And i feel it.

She bought me stuffs too. (nooooo, i dun't beg for one) Be it apparel, foods (good one! especially whenever she travels), books, and loads of if i were to list down. Ohh I even got her baju hand down to me (i have a sister in law thou)

"Umi dah nak pencen, tak sesuai dah nak pakai baju-baju macam ni. tu yang Umi bagi kat hafiza. sayang kalau umi nak buang. Kalau Hafiza rasa sesuai dengan Hafiza, pakai lah"

I nodded sheepishly. (immediately take all the baju to hang em in my wardrobe, so she don't have second thought)

Or sometimes, when i'm back late from work,  with the fatigue looking face, she'll goes,

"Umi dah masak air panas tu.. Hafiza pergi la buat air panas untuk hafiza ngan awwar, bagi hilang letih.."

Ohh, tender love. The love beyond canvas art. If i were to jot down the goods she made, it'll be 365 days of writing. So, i'll keep short. Such a dependable source of comfort.

see, she even held my hand firm! afraid i might get lost in the Holy Land.

to Umi, i might not say this LOUD and often, but deep inside i'm thanking Allah for having you. you're GREAT and INSPIRING.
and i love you so much.
(Ohh thank you for letting me marry your son yahh:p)

Happy Weekend everyone!

coffee, anyone?

coffee is beyond normal ADDICTIVE! i declared that! it's like my morning ritual that i cannot risk a day without it! (BUT i managed thou, 16 months of pregnancy period and breastfeeding-is a NO COFFEE period) the husband will do a spot-check whether have i been taking any during the period. it was HARD and i feel LOST (over but it's true)

usually, 2 cups of coffee made my day! one is for my early morning upon staring the screen and next sip would be for supper! (sometimes, on a cold rainy days, a sip all you need to keep you back on track).

do you guys feel the same about coffee, just like i do? if yes, i'm all delighted to share on how coffee does good to your body. of course the key is MODERATION here. if you consume sugared drinks for like 5-6 cups per day, of course it'll increases the sugar level in your body and lead to unhealthy lifestyle. NO GOOD.

I stumbled upon this, and i decided to share:

A study of 90,000 Japanese by the National Cancer Center in Tokyo found that people who drank one to four cups of coffee daily had half the liver cancer risk of those who never drank coffee. Researchers aren't sure why, but they speculate that antioxidants may play a role.

A study by researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health that followed more than 125,000 men and women for more than a decade found that regular coffee drinkers had a significantly lower risk of developing type 2 (or late-onset) diabetes. Studies in Sweden and Finland also concluded that coffee consumption offers protection from type 2 diabetes. Again, researchers aren't sure why.

A half-dozen recent international studies showed a positive relationship between drinking caffeinated beverages -- including coffee -- and lower rates of Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease.

wow! pretty impressed! i've always heard people said, coffee is bad. don't consume coffee. or sometimes, do justice to the body. having said from the quoted article above, it's totally reversible. coffee is not EVIL at all. you can be friends with them. (bestfriend!) ohhh, i am so gonna love coffee more and more :p

and you may also visit here for further acknowledge.

to all the coffee lovers, CHEERS to this. but remember, the key is always MODERATION.
