KUL-LHR UNWIND V.2

Day 3 : Heading north to Scotland via Manchester. We decided to stop at the famously known Ol' Trafford. Brothers purchased the stadium tour online while the rest of us continue driving wandering the city. Manchester was known for the large Malays Community residential, and offers invariably luscious and pocket worth of Halal Foods. You'll can simply bumped into Malaysians at every  corner of the block, as they say.

Planting dreams *_*

Arrived Scotland at almost half past ten. Weee, lethargic much! Left London at 9 am and here we are warmly welcomed  by the Cottage Owner. So thoughtful of them to even fill the fridge with fresh milk and butter, baked us hommie bread with eggs hatched from their own chicken (cool!). Oh yes, we rent a cottage by the name of  East Cambusmoon Farm where it's 5 acre smallholding on the outskirts of the village of Gartocharn at the southern end of the world famous Loch Lomond.

the cottage. it is so so serene with a breathtaking hill farm view.

would also be perfect for grilling outdoor. if only it's summer, otherwise you'll catch a cold. It's -2 deg at night and we even experienced snowfalls :)

the spacious kitchen. love it!

the bedrooms. oh-so divine! the interior is basically simple but encounter the feels-like-home ambience. cozy and warm. we just loved everything about the cottage. Highly recommended peeps :)

Day 4: devouring the Edinburgh city situated in Lothian. The city offers magnificent architecture building, which many originated from the 50's era.

nice ain't it? pic: google.

and this is Day 5: Glasgow City. Awe in amusement. Alhamdulillah for the opportunity.

fallin in love :) cringeeeee. oh this pix is taken only via my trusted iphone5. i somehow thinks it looks surreal cool.

to be cont. v3

yegoyand

finally to thee yegoyanddddd! :)

yes, i am the one thrilled beyond all. Ever since i watched the Majalah 3 somewhere early this year or end of last year (if not mistaken), i had made pact to myself, ok must must bring anak bujang there. He'll sure be cheesy happy all over the moon. Alhamdulillah opportunity knocked on my door just recently and was just about in time. A happy mom i am, and seeing the intriguing smile on anak bujang's face was rather priceless :)

I was scheduled for work in JB on Saturday. Thus we decided Sunday for Legoland. Contemplating to further the excitement to USS, but considering am carrying 8 months baby bump, might as well slash that from the initial plan. Well, i do not want to end up giving birth in Singapore would i? tee hee. So next time lah perhaps..

a must have pic when you're here.

isn't it beautiful? soo surreal indeed.

KLIA replication: the plane, the shuttle, the cargo thing all is actually moving and got sound some more! Literally my jaw dropped. Ah-mazing architecture i must say.

See the complexity? Every single lines plays its role in it.

Mini Angkor Wat

erk, not sure of the place.. the mini boats are captivating!

cute LRT

ok there's just too many pics to share but i guess i'll stop here. The last one before we headed home since anak bujang fallen asleep already. Was 4pm when we departed.

Let me share with you on few measures one should consider upon entering the theme park.

Tips 1: Buy lots and i mean really lotsss of drinking water to keep you hydrate during the tour! We brought in 3 bottles of 1.5L drinking. Also was not enough. It's a 5 hours exploration for god sake! Bear in mind it's a bit pricey if you were to buy Mineral Water inside the theme park. Like RM5 per bottle? (the 500ml)

Tips 2: Brought junkies to munch2. And to keep your little one occupied.

Tips 3: Bring strollers (not to worry thou because they have renting at rm20/per buggy if let says you forgot to bring one) and an umbrella of course. Ahaa, put on your sunblock too. Else you'll end up real tan like i did. Face is now 2 tones :p

Tips 4: Go find a friend who worked with Maybank. You can get 50% less for the ticket fees. hihi

Tips 5: For those with babies aged 1 and below, I must say it'll be pretty tough. Babies get cranky since it's hot and humid and plus no rides for babies aged 18months and below.

Till then.

Ireland 2012 - delayed

A little bit of Ireland summary. I have soo many things to share, soo many pictures to be loaded (may take ages to load), soo many feelings  boggling in mind, experiences and recommendations, BUT I have little time to do so.

Basically we rented a cottage in nearby countryside, a car to mobilize us around north and south. All are properly arranged by dear SIL & BIL. Thank you guys!

So the pictures all summarizes half of the trip if not all. It was a very much needed vacation of the year. Alhamdulillah all went well through our 12 days stays.

Breathtaking Langkawi

This was like 3 weeks ago, prior to LIMA. Obviously it wasn't even planned earlier. Hubby's office team decided to do some homework ground basis before their LIMA mission, thus needed to be there for the weekend. That was when hubby said, let us all go then! My eyes rolled big not twice but thrice!Like serious? *giving this typical synical frown*

Bookings were only made the friday evening upon leaving for Kuala Kedah, and mind you most of the hotels were fully booked due to school holidays and approaching LIMA. I've loaded some pix on fb.

Near Telaga Harbour. A very beautiful place for your eye feast.

Served luscious choices to fill up your tummy.

the room at The Lanai Beach Resort was far from luxurious but comfort enough i must say, for a stay. It was well maintained and fundementally CLEAN. :)

Love, love and love this picture of him. Beachboy :p He just love the beach.

Sand Indulgence :)

RM5 for the shirt + RM5 for the Aloha Short = RM10 good bargain! :)

The last pix of us 3 having lunch at The Loaf. Breeze at ease.

Too bad we didn't make it for the Cable Car. There's always a reason for next time :)

Oh Penang!

Penang is a state in Malaysia and the name of its constituent island, located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

I have not been to Penang for quite sometimes and, surprise surprise! Goodness Gracious! The scenery, the scents of food HEAVENLY especially their significant delight, char kuew teoy & Nasi Kandaq, and over the coastal, there were lines of hawkers striving to live near Gurney Drive there where MOSTLY they were all the Chinese. Speaking of development, i see a bunch of sky scrappers reaching out density high! As a matter of fact, there a number of it. Like Magnificent! Personally, not taking political issues into account, i envisioned Penang as a mini Singapore. The developing island to accommodate the needs.

welcoming from the island.

Anyhow, i'm not giving a lecture on Penang. Cut the crap.

We were there for the weekend to witnessed the beautiful akad nikah ceremony of my uia's clan, Shuhada & Sairien held at Masjid Terapung Tanjung Bungah. Beautiful! Edat & Zana (sisterhood of the clan of course) were there too. And boy, whilst the bride were calm and smiling ear to ear, relieve and syukur that the ceremony went smooth sailing, extraordinarily them both were the one sobbing hard, held tissue in hand shedding of running tears. Drama Queen! Haha

And i sooo love her dress! Her gestures all accentuates the fact she's the Queen of the day.

laughter shed for the union. Truly happy for the both of you.

hands together for the newlywed. during their dinner reception by the beach.*pix from their fb*

In between, we managed our time for their local delicacies. a MUST!

whenever you pay a visit to the island, it's a MUST to savor their significant localities, i.e : The Famous, non other than Nasi Kandar Line Clear! Two thumbs up!

On all, suffice to say we will surely come back to Penang for their glorious mouth watering food!
