December 30th..

the little boy turns 3!

Seeing his profound excitement attending birthday parties this year and how the grimaces on his face saying to me he can now understood when people sang you a birthday song, i attempted to made a small celebration at the babysitter's place. Well, indeed a simple one just so his friends at the babysitter can sing him a birthday song and enjoy good foods.

So i made few arrangements with Kakak Fatin (the babysitter). Since 30th falls on Sunday so i decided Friday the 28th would be best to mark. I couldn't be any thankful when Kakak Fatin offered her hand on the foods. She made Chicken Rice (soo sedap i must agree), Nuggets, and curry puffs in conjunction to it. I paved my way to Alamanda to get the party stuffs (Party Hats, Balloons, Bubbles, etc), the cake and what kids love most, KFC! Haha, not soo healthy apparently, but nevermind, once in a while i guess :p won't do much harm would it? :)

Alhamdulillah.. the party went well, just like what i wanted it to be. Kakak Fatin has been nice whatsapping me all the pictures, of him and friends having fun, turning the house all in mess. Adam was all delighted when friends throw him the birthday song. Glad that the kids enjoyed their time too.

Happy Birthday Munchkin! I was all in teary eyes seeing this pics. He's all grown up! *blame the pregnancy hormones*

Later in the evening upon fetching him from Kakak Fatin's place, i asked: Adam ada happy birthday tadi?

He answered " haaa, shume2 nyanyi happy birthday adam..shume2 clap hands.. yepas tu adam makan cake.. shedappp mommy" - Well i smell happiness in his tone. Alhamdulillah..

On Saturday, the family don in the idea of having a BBQ, a perfect way to end the year. So mom ordered another Birthday Cake to again celebrate Adam's turning 3! Spoil one lil fella! We're keeping it to just relatives and nearby neighbors for the night.

The Line of goddess mouth watering ; Nasi Lemak, Fettucini, Mashed Potatoes, and Baked Macaroni

epic of all; the lamb and friends.. grilling on the groove!

Cake Cutting! All sweating from the running all night long. Boy he slept at 2am that night!
So, Happy Birthday again son!

So this is what he gets for being 3! Thank You Owan & Omak.
Hope you enjoy your birthday son.

yegoyand

finally to thee yegoyanddddd! :)

yes, i am the one thrilled beyond all. Ever since i watched the Majalah 3 somewhere early this year or end of last year (if not mistaken), i had made pact to myself, ok must must bring anak bujang there. He'll sure be cheesy happy all over the moon. Alhamdulillah opportunity knocked on my door just recently and was just about in time. A happy mom i am, and seeing the intriguing smile on anak bujang's face was rather priceless :)

I was scheduled for work in JB on Saturday. Thus we decided Sunday for Legoland. Contemplating to further the excitement to USS, but considering am carrying 8 months baby bump, might as well slash that from the initial plan. Well, i do not want to end up giving birth in Singapore would i? tee hee. So next time lah perhaps..

a must have pic when you're here.

isn't it beautiful? soo surreal indeed.

KLIA replication: the plane, the shuttle, the cargo thing all is actually moving and got sound some more! Literally my jaw dropped. Ah-mazing architecture i must say.

See the complexity? Every single lines plays its role in it.

Mini Angkor Wat

erk, not sure of the place.. the mini boats are captivating!

cute LRT

ok there's just too many pics to share but i guess i'll stop here. The last one before we headed home since anak bujang fallen asleep already. Was 4pm when we departed.

Let me share with you on few measures one should consider upon entering the theme park.

Tips 1: Buy lots and i mean really lotsss of drinking water to keep you hydrate during the tour! We brought in 3 bottles of 1.5L drinking. Also was not enough. It's a 5 hours exploration for god sake! Bear in mind it's a bit pricey if you were to buy Mineral Water inside the theme park. Like RM5 per bottle? (the 500ml)

Tips 2: Brought junkies to munch2. And to keep your little one occupied.

Tips 3: Bring strollers (not to worry thou because they have renting at rm20/per buggy if let says you forgot to bring one) and an umbrella of course. Ahaa, put on your sunblock too. Else you'll end up real tan like i did. Face is now 2 tones :p

Tips 4: Go find a friend who worked with Maybank. You can get 50% less for the ticket fees. hihi

Tips 5: For those with babies aged 1 and below, I must say it'll be pretty tough. Babies get cranky since it's hot and humid and plus no rides for babies aged 18months and below.

Till then.

December 3, 2012

hello december @ 32 weeks

so November bids farewell.. Hello December.. :)

I haven't been very consistent with my updates, have I? At least I'm writing some so BabyII will have a trail of idea on mommy's journey bringing him into the world.

There's just so much happening in November. Best friends wedding, worktrip to Kelantan and touring the Asia's premier Legoland in Johor. Will later knock on it.

For now, at 32 weeks, according to the famous What to Expect " Baby's starting to get ready for her big debut, tipping the scales at almost four pounds and topping out at just about 19 inches. In these past few weeks, it's all about practice, practice, practice as she hones the skills she'll need to thrive outside the womb — from swallowing and breathing to kicking and sucking. And speaking of sucking, your little one has been able to suck her thumb for a while now. Something else to note: As more and more fat accumulates under your baby's skin, he's becoming less transparent and more opaque"..

Whoaa.. I started feeling this tightening sensation on lower part abdomen for quite sometimes. And a strained back too. Perhaps due to the enlarging bump and frequent walking on these past few days. And vividly, it puts me in the state of worries. Had a check done 3 days ago and Alhamdulillah baby seem to be in position already. Weighing at 2kg, he now has less room to swirl around. And wherever I go, I'll often get this remarks "eh, baby nampak dah turun tu.. x lama dah tu".. It further intensify the level of worries I have right now. Man, soo many things in mind to juggle.

Till then, will write again.

pink or blue?

jeng..jeng..jeng..

went for my scheduled detailed scan yesterday and heart beats skipping joy in the venture to know on the baby's gender. Well, I was secretly wishing for a girl this time, but did not make an appealing one. Having to go through different rhythm during the first trimester, I was a bit adamant in having to hold a princess. Adam dah ada, so mesti la nak Hawa pula kan?

But, Allah knows best. Written in his book, Adam II is what I needed. I will need two bodyguards to company when I'm old later on. So I am all drizzling in happiness. As long as the baby's doing fine and I'm coping the journey well, Alhamdulillah. Praise be to Him the almighty. So yes, another prince is making it's way to see the world. :) There's always a reason for the next one :p

son

Scene almost every morning. I need to get dressed so I switched on the lights so I don't go colour my nose with gloss. And this little man will shield himself like this. Sometimes making groaning sound like in a way he's telling me "mommy lights off please. am sleeping you see" .. And the cars.. He adores cars! Just soo much. Intrestingly he recognises almost all cars on the road. You name it, Audi, BM-Dabeyuu, Mercedez, Wolkswagen, Kia, Honda.. all! You point and he'll name it for you. So he has this wide range of collections at home and bring it to sleep most of the time. So I have pool of cars when I wake up every morning, either it's tucked under my back, or tinggling on my feet. Son..son..

a little whoop of joy

alhamdulillah ...there's one thing for sure that I long wanting to write up here. Remember my Umrah trip back in 2009? [carrying 21 weeks adam in my belly]..Yes, during my 8 days in mecca, everyday without fail I fervently prayed to Allah, oh please make chance by any means seeking the wisdom of yours for my parents to be here too in this sacred place. How i wish I could be there together performing the purest ibadah with them. Walking through the sai'e hands to hands with them. But it didn't happened during the time. Little did I know, Allah's listening and started planning.

Alhamdulillah Allah the almighty decided to give me a little whoop of joy and granted the prayers. Parents and little brother just recently paved their way back and forth completed Umrah. Thank you Allah. I am very much blessed.

Semoga dimurahkan rezeki untuk mengerjakan ibadah haji pula. amin.

addiction

I think Upin & Ipin has now become his BFF. Everywhere anywhere, "mommy upin ipin mana?"

and now this! Previously it was Angry Bird. Kids learn fast. He can now hop and make turn. Twelve thousands is his best score at the moment:p

Gahh. It has become norm I guess seeing kids playing games on ipad/iphone nowadays. It's surreal phenomenal. They don't even need a teacher for one. They see first and wallah the next day, automatically you'll see their tiny hands moves here and there, ups and downs hooked up like 24-7. Speaking about high tech babies giggling to the screen.

I bet they sure have not heard of congkak, dam haji, dam ular, guli, batu seremban etc. Like the one we played once upon a time. I remember playing batu seremban made of green beans during recess in primary and by the end of the day, whilst waiting for the school bus, the girls especially will go frantic on playing getah. Ahh those times. Such Memoirs.

mayhem of the week

A missed period is often the first sign that you're pregnant. But what if you've missed, and you're not pregnant?

It freaks me out, totally! My period has always be on constant regular basis, one's that knock on me monthly except for when i was pregnant for Adam lah of course. Recently, just very recently i missed my period. The last one i had was in November, and coming to date, i have not had my cycle for a month and plus. Being curious, i brave myself and took the pregnancy test about 2 weeks ago to check whether if i am pregnant. BUT it came out nayyyy..Negative! Maybe it was a false reading, so i took the test again to re-assure and the result came out to be the same. Negative. No period and not pregnant??? YES i was down in disappointment, nothing beats the real (maybe i put hope a lil bit too high).

Oh did i not mention? We have started executing for our second one since September and the attempt seem  no avail to date. Hence the disappointment. I was left with a question boggling in mind, if not pregnant then what could possibly went wrong to my monthly cycle? I sat down and ponder. Heart was beating like a drum rolls. So i told husband and seek for what he has to say on the matter. 'Lebih baik kite jumpe doktor pakar. Kalau betul tak pregnant, tak apelah, belum rezeki adam nak dapat adik.. at least kite dapat tahu kenapa period tak datang..i takut fibroid ke ape ke..'- he responded.

After much deliberation, we both consented seeking opinion from the expert. Went to Az-Zahrah Specialist this morning with so many 'what-if' in mind. What if there's a cyst? What if the doctor diagnose it's  fibroid and it's at crucial stage? What if suddenly the doctor say am in need to undergo surgery? The most extreme that i came to vision - what if i won't be able to be pregnant again? I kid you not. Too many what if's..I was scared. The waiting game at the clinic had further enhance my inferiority, all at the back of my head.

And somehow, Alhamdulillah, according to the doctor, my reproduction system are normal, no sign of cyst or any unwanted gland, uterus all seems normal. On that point of view, Alhamdulillah i couldn't be any relieve. The doctor then consulted, among normal diagnosis, delayed in period and not pregnant may be due to hormonal imbalance. She said "Women of all ages may experience hormonal imbalance. Every month, the female hormones estrogen and progesterone are produced. When estrogen and progesterone levels do not balance, this may have a dramatic effect on your health"..*now heart beat plays drum rolls  again*

She further added, hormonal imbalance take place normally when the body is stressed out, excessive weight loss & weight gain, change in medication or any severe illness. Gahhh! Now i know where my case stands. OVERWEIGHT!*feel like screaming to the world* Yeah so i admit to the doctor i had double the size of my pre pregnancy. *boo ho ho* We discussed, she throws in few more questions (a very nice lady doctor she is) and concluded prescribing me 'provera-progestine hormone' - helping to restore balance to hormonal levels and at the same time i must work with her on reducing weight! *hate rice-hate rice-hate rice*

In 10 days of medication prescription, if there's still no bleeding indication, will need to come and see her again. Holistic remedies is also recommended according to the doctor. Now that's the problem. I'm bald when talking on per say. I do not know which is actually needed in my case.Hmm. So now i'm telling the world, i shall -no more contemplating- be back on my dietary regimes. MUST!
