And then if you develop any health issues throughout your life, it doesn't matter, because you already have the cover in place! at least, secure :)

mommy's planning for Adam's first Bash!

hahhaaha..yes, mommy's getting over-reacting!i know! the adrenaline's just got on nerves when it comes talking about adam's FIRST BIRTHDAY! definately, celebrating the milestone can be the most awaited occasion.balloons, cakes, ribbons, deco-deco, and PARRTEYYY! owh - am soo gonna drive ayah's madness! gee- can't help it out ok! plus, adam's embarking 7 months in like 3 dayss? yess - pretty pretty soon, in 3 days time the little rascal turns 7 months old! indicating he's just 5 months away from ONE YEAR OLD.enthraled!

i am cracking mind to come out with most catchy decent theme for the said occasion. ayah'll surely disagree anything wild - weirdo.he'll groannn and murmured hard!haha. knowing him, it's a NO-NO. and as a matter of fact, ayah went big eyes when mommy came out with the football theme months ago - since its the WC's all over kan? - ouh hu hu..plus, i am planning for adam's aqiqah - means double celebrations - so, might as well be it decent. these are few which is in list i manage to came up with:

hey there peeps.jolly jolly friday is up again!yeeeha.it always has been the day am vainly looking forward too.since am not occupied for alamanda this blissful friday-noon, will keep sane and sit still answering the tag about ur other half sent from an email.here it goes.

    CSI, Discovery Channel (Air Crash Investigations to be precise..)

2. What’s one food he doesn’t like?
    Masak-Lemak or anything in yellowish color - he claim it soo royal for 
   a meal.haha. being absurd he is!

3. You go out to eat and have a drink. What does he order?
    The forever Teh Tarik. (even in hotels, weddings, etc occasion)

4. What size shoes does he wear?
    size 10/11..i know, it's exxxtreme huge!he's tall anyhow.explain the
    sampan-size he wears:p

5. If he was to collect anything, what would it be?
    Dust. Hahaha… emm, dunno.clueless. he dun look like the one who keeps
    for sentimental purposes

6. What is his favorite type of sandwich?
    Mashed-fully boiled-eggs with heavy dose of pepper and mayo on it.must
   come with salad and tomatoes for toss.i call it super lavish sandwich..

7. What would this person eat every day if he could?
    Nasi Arab UNITEN! he'll go there for like thrice in a row within a week,
    and yet still claim not enuff of it???!!

8. What would he never wear?
    The Sexy Trunk!hahaha. and anything that does not fit him, too snug or
    too loose included.Very choosy! just imagine him spending hours in and
    out the changing room for fitting! it's his delicacy!

9. What is his heritage?
   Terengganu on his Mum’s side, and Johor+Kelantan on his Dad’s side. He
   was born in Terengganu so I think he thinks of himself as a Terengganu 
   boy! makang ikanggg.

10. What is his favourite color?
     suprisingly its maroon.. nontheless, pink-ish purplish can always win his
    heart over black or blue.

the july 10th

hola hola..its monday again! gloomy and soo not an encouraging one.for me at least. the weekend swept away within a blink of an eye! all that i know, here i am at work again. whining for the weekend has passed. and again the mundane continues..life..fret not! did nothing much over the weekend - apart from the repetitious chores - which everybody goes thru it.boooring. so, lets not pin it up here, rather i'll make up for something.

the july 10th..what is there about it?

the july 10th marked the love - being in a relationship - and call it all the given name for it.its the day i whole-heartedly declared to be in a relationship with him. the day i'm officially his. the day we were boyfriend & girlfriend :) yess! those days! back in 2001, those were the days. i genuinely fell in love for the first time. read again FIRST TIME. at the age of 18. the feelings? splendid & speechless.i dun see any words seems to perfect the feelings inside.* whoaaa - sgt jiwang - kindly be excused*

and now..in 2010, the july 10th - him whom i've accepted his handful love, is still pouring me with his trails of unconditional love without fails. i call it bless!i am indeed so blessed with the utmost love he gave, and not a single regret for signing the love oath to him. dearly hubby, happy 10th annivessary and may we continue counting ..10 - 100 :) i love you despite all the despicable (s) :) and thank you Allah for the unrequitted blessings for us. i just want to grow old with u hubby.

tips on becoming a good mother

yeayyy! the much much awaited weekend's finally here.there's just soo much to do, bingo of a plan A and B next, which eventually, in the end of the day, realise not much has been done. pull down with dissapointment.

rather how, as i was clicking on the explorer, found this very-much-related article on tips becoming a good mother..leisure reading on friday-noon.no alamanda this week.. :) had enuff of alamanda for the week.i believe definitely all the sane-mother on the planet would make up their effort in becoming one..at least i do.. How to be a good mother? Many women do not have any clue on what traits make a good mother. Sometimes, what you feel good may not be necessarily good for the child. Thus, here are some good Qualities or characteristics to develop to be a good mother to your child.

Set a good Example: Since the mother is the most important person in the life of a child it is important for her to be a positive and moral role model and example that the can look up to, appreciate and honor. Whatever the child observes from her, such as her housekeeping habits, her manners, her relationships with others, the way she spends money and in general her lifestyle, will all undoubtedly affect the child’s character.

Be there for the Child: In the initial years of childhood the child needs the mother more. It is very important for the child to spend quality time with the child. It is okay to be a friend or buddy to your child but remember that ultimately you are their parent and it is your responsibility to provide them moral and ethical guidance. A good mother is compassionate and gentle but firm in discipline

Love and Patience: A mother’s love is unmatched. Remember that a mother carried you in her womb, fed you and protected you even when she was in pain and suffering even before you were not born. To a good mother you are special no matter you are young or old, healthy or handicapped, troublesome or obedient.

Be a Good Listener: A good mother is a good listener as well. She spends quality time with her children and patiently listens to them when they talk and give them quality advice and help them in negative circumstances. A good mother is always an approachable person for a child to talk

Responsibility: It is said that motherhood is a full time career. If you have brought the child to the world then also be ready to accept the responsibilities that comes along with motherhood.

when my 6 months baby rambles

At this age your baby's repertoire of sounds may include squeals, bubbling noises, operatic octave changes, and babbling. About half of all six month olds babble — repeating one syllable such as "ba" or "ma" over and over. Try listening to your baby and see how many sounds you can hear: does he babble quickly or slowly? Softly or loudly? Are the sounds high or low?

ok, above were the updates sent via email by the super well known babycenter. and its sooo infinite true! not that i notice very recently, since he has be repeating barrages of words over few weeks back then. he once went btuh btah..which i dun have any clue of wut he's actually referring to..sometimes he'll goes yahhh.. which i assume he meants ayah..bet he must loves his ayah more!

there were times, when he succumb to the word taa taa, baa baa, bruu, and name it all the repetitions continue.it's hillariously funny whenever those word came out from him. and when mommy make sounds in response to his fury rambles, he'll quite and went straight to my face as if trying to understand what on earth mommy is trying to say..boy..little that i know exploring into the world of a baby can be this much fun!

aha..and the oxford babycenter proclaims: Your baby can also recognise different tones and inflections and may cry now, if you speak to him harshly. really? can he differentiates? uuhh..speaking of the circumstance, mommy perhaps, must be extra cautious in conversating with him.

Adam also uses all of his senses to explore and learn. He has lots of safe things around to touch, mouth and manipulate. He'll delight in squishing a soft rubber ball, gnawing a chilled teething ring, and hearing a bell sound inside a stuffed animal.

Everyday has never been this exciting, getting to know what this little boy is up to and what more to expect in coming days..muchos little boy!

on the other hand instead..red is not bad at all! bit garang but cool! anticipate this too.

adam went for his 6 months jab!

6 months jab already! and its his last jab before his much awaited FIRST BIRTHDAY! thus, mommy decided to take leave to accompany the little boy.plus, mommy just wanna be away from office.no phone calls, no memos, no letters, no no..just home, mind at surreal peace and adam to hug and shrud. update for his visit: this young man indeed growing by leaps and bounds. he is now 8.8kgs and 72cm tall!! tinggi nye kamu anak bujang! loong leg that can go for miles and miles.next jab will be next year - January 2011! sooon after he had his cake cutting. 

also mommy is in midst of decluttering the lil boy wardrobe. he's in dire need of new pairs. 6-12m size now. goodbye for 0-6m size. shall be keepsake for adik ok mommy?:p

whilst waiting for his name to be called upon. owh, see the wiggly cap his wearing, bought by uncle chip. thanks uncle chip!i think i'm cute in it!

there's the polite - with - smile doc touching here and there, measuring my head circumference. adam just cant lie still. he'll do the turnover, chuckles himself, pulling legs, twisting arms and soo..

yeayy! am now 8.8kgs. the machines aint no lie aite? not that heavy lah..hehe

mommy, a hand will ya? i dun dare to see. will it be pain like the month before? ouh hu. to our suprise, this time around, there was only whimper response to the jab. no tears. no screams. not much of a pain then i guess.slightly tender. mommy dun even need to bribe him with milk. good boy adam!

and to mark another milestone, he can now bottle himself  97%! the remaining 3 %?? mommy and ayah will have to pick it up still whenever botol itu sudah senget senget.

ps: adam sudah besar. tapi mommy masih belum kurus. how? how?

adam at sleep

ahh..semuanye tentang adam kan! yes, i want him to one fine day able to understand the god's given unconditional love mommy & ayah has for him.

beginilah ghope anak bujangku tido. ouh..this was half an hour later i put him to nap. approximate to an hour later he was already 90 degrees turning point. sgt la buas ini budak.

well, adam now sleeps for long streches at a time. he sleep less during days. According to Baby Center

:

Between the ages of 6 and 9 months, many babies consolidate their daytime sleep into two naps, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Don't be concerned, though, if your baby continues to take three naps a day. Keeping consistent times for bedtime and naps will help regulate his sleep patterns.

Yes. During the weekend, Adam will open his eyes wide and shallow as early as 7am! makes mommy misses the looongg and refreshing sleep. less time to mushi-mushi with ayah juge.he he. He'll play, pull off broader smiles that lift his cheekbones and may include laughing. Later after, at about 9.30am, soon done with his morning milk, he'll dose off for like half an hour before waking up for fine breakfast. mommy will then place the little boy for bubble bath at 11am. 

Adam will again dose for nap at about 2pm. in between the intervals, he would continue playing and in response to something outside, he'll sure give the gummy grins - signature. and that is all his nap for the day.  he's likely to start consolidating his sleep. that explains the long strech sleep at night. The Baby Center seconded:

By 6 months, your baby will probably be taking two or three naps a day: one in the morning, one in the early afternoon, and another later in the afternoon.

in short, Adam is adapting well with his sleeping pattern i guess, despite for some seperation anxiety experienced at night. He'll wake up and only to find out mommy was not  there - cause some distress. And he'll calm down as soon as i enter the room and greet him.

And according to the great great Baby Center again :

it makes sense: At 6 or 7 months old, a  baby would naturally get upset at being separated from the person who protects and cares for him.

and i hope Adam adapts the lifelong learning of his sleeping pattern. bless for mommy - especially when no wake up calls at night. :)

adam the sweetheart

mode: enthusiast waiting for the second wc semis of 2010.go go germans. Germany have been identified by many as the most impressive team in the tournament so far. Spain thou were one of the favourites going into World Cup 2010. La Furia Roja..lets be part of the game people!ok enuff of that.

ok, pass! here's my 2 cents verdict : thank u tok mama for the super comfy couch. pretty soon when i'm on my leg, i'll try hiking on it for better endurance. :)

at point am jotting this down, the great netherlands has abruptly put ends to the brazillions journey in 2010 World Cup.yeeeehhhaaaaaaaa!! the brazils are out of the league!go go oranje!apparently, am not a huge of fan of the brazillions thou, but seeing their play with that kind of attitude, piss me off.samba is left with mischief.

ok all..done with the midnite rambles.will continue that later on..today is the july 2nd..2 days pass.

HAPPY 6 MONTHS BIRTHDAY ADAM!

                                              

mommy just can't wait for ur first bash!

hmm.at 6 months old, adam has indeed become the center of attention @ attraction to the family. adam heks sikit je, tok wan dah jerit panggil mommy hoke. thus mommy must must response quick or otherwise mommy'll be scold.its all about adam. the one that mommy miss most of the time in the office, who'll wailed out of his lung whenever mommy dun attend to him, and gave his gibberish smile everytime we play peek-a-boo together.heart it little boy.

here's among the milestone that i must highlight:

1. no rolling - nope.he has yet to awe mommy pertaining that. should i be worried?well, according to the babycenter: As long as your baby continues to gain new skills and shows interest in getting around and exploring his environment, don't worry.hmm.i rest my case.if not right now - the pretty soon ya.

2. jumping - jumping - yessss!adam's fascinate jumping!reckon when it all start, but he seems mastering it well.

3. walker-ing already : i tried to pat him on his cousin's, and he manouver it very well indeed.the funny thing is, he mastered at revers-ing it.haha.he goes backward and backward.no big deal sayang, at least u've shown ur keen towards it.nothing nerve-racking.

4. eat much much in his comot glory - like i've mentioned in my earlier post. mommy is yet to home-made the recipes on net for you honey bunny.the other day, i made pottarot for him (potato + carrot) and he licks to the very last drop.bravo boy.u made me feel geees.

5. adam master his grasping.there was one time when he was left playing alone with his gym, and i was eye-ing from far trying to sneak on what actually he's doing.he make faces and grimmaces.he explores, make pulling till the rattles plug-off, and also he tried his very best to chuck in the stand into his mouth. no no.mommy immediately shove him.

6. adam is also beginning to expand his attention getting repertoire to include more than crying. he wriggles, chuckles and tantrums at some point.adam just seem like not the one who can tolerate delays.uhuu..u dun inherit that from me aite?haha

7. i think he screams yahh the other day whilst gawking at ayah..does he means ayah?hmm. *still in state of denial* why must ayah first?

8. adam can now sit..still imbalance thou but could at least last for 10 seconds for a sit up right. go go baby.take ur time at ur own phase.

9. he eats 4 times a day! and he sweats a lottt!

10. tido saaaangatt buas! down and low.

11. he loves it when mommy sings lullaby.twinkle twinkle little star he favour most!

12. he can focus straight.

13. sudah ada gigi bawah :) ;) subtle yet.mommy's effin attempt to snap a pix on it fails endlessly.

14. laugh out loud. equals at whimpering might as well.

15 there were few times, where his babbling is making sense.for example 'yahh' which probably means ayah.but most of the time, the babbles rhymes in barrage of repetitious words..i.e tutu..tete..which mommy dun even have a single clue to guess what he meant by that.
