KUL-LHR UNWIND V.2

Day 3 : Heading north to Scotland via Manchester. We decided to stop at the famously known Ol' Trafford. Brothers purchased the stadium tour online while the rest of us continue driving wandering the city. Manchester was known for the large Malays Community residential, and offers invariably luscious and pocket worth of Halal Foods. You'll can simply bumped into Malaysians at every  corner of the block, as they say.

Planting dreams *_*

Arrived Scotland at almost half past ten. Weee, lethargic much! Left London at 9 am and here we are warmly welcomed  by the Cottage Owner. So thoughtful of them to even fill the fridge with fresh milk and butter, baked us hommie bread with eggs hatched from their own chicken (cool!). Oh yes, we rent a cottage by the name of  East Cambusmoon Farm where it's 5 acre smallholding on the outskirts of the village of Gartocharn at the southern end of the world famous Loch Lomond.

the cottage. it is so so serene with a breathtaking hill farm view.

would also be perfect for grilling outdoor. if only it's summer, otherwise you'll catch a cold. It's -2 deg at night and we even experienced snowfalls :)

the spacious kitchen. love it!

the bedrooms. oh-so divine! the interior is basically simple but encounter the feels-like-home ambience. cozy and warm. we just loved everything about the cottage. Highly recommended peeps :)

Day 4: devouring the Edinburgh city situated in Lothian. The city offers magnificent architecture building, which many originated from the 50's era.

nice ain't it? pic: google.

and this is Day 5: Glasgow City. Awe in amusement. Alhamdulillah for the opportunity.

fallin in love :) cringeeeee. oh this pix is taken only via my trusted iphone5. i somehow thinks it looks surreal cool.

to be cont. v3

The KUL - LHR unwind v.1

like finally finally.. here we are.. whirlwind trip to LONDON! After almost 20 years, I am here again pledging the leaves-less tree, inhaling the cold breeze I once missed, the iconic Red double decked that reminds me of yester-years. yes, LONDON. Alhamdulillah for the opportunity.

LONDON. One of the most well-known city.

Checked-in and the vibes running high in excitement. We choose Emirates since the airlines offer the best price exceptionally on the day bookings were made.

Ready for your first bound Umar? Sorry for the long haul for an introductory. :p So it wasn't pretty a good start for Umar since the plane switched off their cooling condition due to some power savvy, hence he wailed for some air! And I mean he cries his lungs out! Only 5 minutes to take off he calmed himself and starting to play around. Phew. Relieved.

The entourage minus me and siblings during our transit in Dubai.

Arrived at Heathrow, Terminal 4.

So this will be our nesting place for the remaining days in London. Rumah Perseketuan Kerajaan, London in High Street Kensington, Hyde Park, London. The house equipped with 2 main bedrooms and comes with ample living area to plunk ourselves. Comfortable enough I must say at the rate of RM150/per night with additional pillow and duvet, plus it's just a walking distance from Tesco Express, our groceries haystack and just a throw stone away from the nearest tube station. Convenient much.

the temp reading during our stay was 7deg max and descend to merely -2deg at night. freezing! On the other hand, i personally succumb to the view of the leaves-less trees like its painting a roller-story beneath it.

Day 2: Bic ester Village.  Splurging after a worthwhile waits. Seriously it was dirt cheap! well, surprisingly it is still inimitable to the one online sellers offers. argh. I die. cannot tahan one! humming to "kalau aku kaya" by awi rafael ft altimet. :)

After almost 3 hours bunking from one shop to another, we made a stop to refuel. No, doubt the coffee shop offer varieties of sandwiches on the Vegetarian bar. And oh, furiously as it may sound, but I can simply made my very point of view, after every half an hour, we'll bumped into fellow Malaysians and exchanged smile notably (yeah-the shopping heaven for Malaysians).

end of v1, and to be cont in v2.

mom's birthday

Happy Birthday Momma & Brother Haris

After deliberate thoughts of what to eat and where to eat, so I decided to dine in Plan B, Publika. Few times heard of it, so why not give it a try. Verdict? Food : I would say so-so. not to my expectation perhaps. But mom's chicken pie wasn't disappointing. Ambience: cosy and nice. Service: Quick and delivered well. Price: as expected for a place like that thou seem less reasonable. Repeat? Nahh, not any near.

Chocoholic nightmare. Desert for the day. Delish and finger lickin'. Despite arrays of flavours  sprinkle with beautiful colours being offered, it is still all chocs basis filling the box of 6. Definitely will repeat this one.

So mom, Happy Birthday! Love you to every bits.

the red day

It was last Saturday. The office held this captivating event of the year named "Winning Hearts & Minds" - talking about strengthening the bonding at work :) So well, we located some time to be part of the said event on Saturday despite the typical blues having to get dressed as early as 8am in the morning.

Confined to the colour scheme. Red it is.

Explore one second. Running the other second.

And he had so much fun with the horse. Repeat twice ok. Not afraid at all. [he first said to me "mommy nak naik moo" ahaha - misleading]

a little whoop of joy

alhamdulillah ...there's one thing for sure that I long wanting to write up here. Remember my Umrah trip back in 2009? [carrying 21 weeks adam in my belly]..Yes, during my 8 days in mecca, everyday without fail I fervently prayed to Allah, oh please make chance by any means seeking the wisdom of yours for my parents to be here too in this sacred place. How i wish I could be there together performing the purest ibadah with them. Walking through the sai'e hands to hands with them. But it didn't happened during the time. Little did I know, Allah's listening and started planning.

Alhamdulillah Allah the almighty decided to give me a little whoop of joy and granted the prayers. Parents and little brother just recently paved their way back and forth completed Umrah. Thank you Allah. I am very much blessed.

Semoga dimurahkan rezeki untuk mengerjakan ibadah haji pula. amin.

another year wiser - owan

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OWAN!

Celebrating Owan's turning 58. This is their newly opened branch in Alamanda. Pretty much cosy. The ambience was serene and foods were indeed perfecto. Abah, hoping you enjoy the deal and wishing you joyous & prosperous years ahead.

Right  on after stuffing our tummy, we indulged for some excitement. See his pants? Becoming three quarter already. Mommy thus needs another dose of shopping.

So in all, may Allah bless you Abah :)

over the long weekend

we did nothing much during the long awaited weekend. chillaxing are best picture. a laid back weekend. plus the bug that my little man caught implies us all to be home bounded - alas the good time spent!

articulating the best he could. well, he did made an effort for sure. there's a star, car, ball, & apple that I caught on him.

4 days of no eating except for loads of liquid and dates and raisins to keep him charm living. poor boy. must have shed some kilos there.

my version of kueh teow soup on blessing Saturday. argh, chilli ketchup not in the pic..that's the gist!

some grilling sensation on Sunday. Squids temptations! *all inspired by License to Grill*

man of the night. enjoying the BBQ to the rhythm of  Tinkle Tinkle yiter star repeatedly. non other by Adam of course.

Monday madness. Too lazy to go out and ordered for delivery. Very practical, all at the end of your fingertips.

harboured love

Coming back home late last night, mom decided for a decent family dinner. On her, she said. *that's lovely, i thought so*. Nowadays, siblings are all grown up, you'll find it tough to get everybody sits together except for it was earlier planned. It's either one will be back late for dinner or the other one engaged on meeting friends at mamak. I mean, how often do we call our brother/sister to ask how well have they been doing. Perplexed eye, to us they may seem fine, but how can you be sure? *i think i began value family even more once i have had one of my own*

So since it was the full house home last night, mom made up the place for us. Yeayyy. Catching up times. I just love being surrounded with loved ones. You can almost feel the vibe and intensity you once had for them.

Full-house keeping up the sanity contented.

glorious food trigger happiness for the night.

everybody got to taste a pinch to each serving. Spread the love.

No matter how high we've climb the ladder in life, always always root back to family.

Son turns 2

So here's a toast for my first post in this new year blessings! Happy New Year to all. May all well ended well. There's loads of things conjured through out the year, be it laughter & tears, all are memories that will remain at heart, treasures to be re-open one day.

so yeah, my boy finally hits two! December baby. No partayyy nor balloons what so ever this year. Ayah said instead of channelling his hard earned pays to the balloons and ribbon etc, why not we start saving for the house. Later the house needs grill, furnishing etc etc. So, yes, from this year on, i'll be getting those automatic generate reminder from husband. Hmmphh!

My Cheeky Monster turns two! Fact-I just came to realised this little man will enter Primary One at the age of six!

All we did was just a small BBQ with families celebrating the little man turns two and in conjunction welcoming the new year. Pure bliss seeing the relatives mingles around catching up and munching on the home made yummies. Just bliss. I ordered Red Velvet for the birthday boy and aunt generously made him a carrot cake. So two cakes for the little man who turns two. Perfect to make him squeal in delight :)

Amongst the spread we had for the night-Chinese Fried Rice by Owan, and Caramel Pudding by aunt. Oh proudly present my skewers. It all disappeared in a split seconds you know:p

Happy Birthday son! Mommy & Ayah loves you to bits!

on recent

Abah was recently warded again. It started of with mild fever and over time, the temp kept rising. When thorough check performed, the doctor said he needed minor surgery to remove bisul on his thigh. Otherwise, it'll lead to blood contamination. This is his second time at exactly the same place. Poor abah.

And alhamdulillah the doctor agreed for him to be discharged only after 4 consecutive nights of close monitoring. At last.! He felt impulsive sick if were detained any longer.

Thank you Dena for your call all the way from nihon on asking how's Abah been doing.. You know i heart you kan? :p

And Adam on the other hand seems to enjoy the loyal visit we paid every single night to the hospital. He got a chance to go for lapses run back and forth at the corridor like nobody business. He loves the pastries he saw at the Bits and Bytes shop downstairs (insist for it like every single visit!). Oh boy. Waves hand to the attending nurses near the registration counter was the routine he got to the discover during the visit. And also, i tweeted few nights ago, every time the nurses came to the room to check on Abah, he said "hai kakak"..and the moment the nurses left, politely he went "ti-ku (thank you) kakak".. *_*

And upon discharged, Abah came home saying "nurse nurse kat sana semua kirim salam dengan Adam"..  haha. He earned points there.

caught in attempt making mischief

slipped of owan's piece of blanket and place it nicely on the doorstep!

one thing that make him sit still for like 10 good seconds before musing on to other things.

Salam Aidiladha to all :)

It's the sensation and vibe that makes the Raya always a memorable one! So here i am, putting the color imaging our Raya celebrations despite being drainage due to my pinkeye disease.
