playgroup

WHAT IS PLAYGROUP?

An informal session where parents, carers, babies, and children aged 0 to school age come together in a relaxed and friendly environment. Gives children an opportunity to have fun, make new friends and develop new skills through informal play.

Provides parents and carers with an opportunity to meet other parents and carers, make friends, and share ideas and experiences. Allows parents and carers to spend quality time with their children, encouraging, helping or simply playing with their children. [source: alimkids]

I was so ecstatic upon reading the snippet ad on their website and without further a due, ring them up to secure a place. Luckily their introduction class were still open. The last piece according to them, which i thank God for my quick nerves integration:p It is by all means, targeted at toddler aged 2-4, kinda platform for the age group upon embarking pre-schooling i guess, and i was sugar high when they responded to my quest on bringing my 17 months toddler for a little exposure. Just a little not much :p

So, we brought Adam for Playgroup! Ready for a little whoop of joy, boy?

Adam was all amused to the surroundings. Sits and watch was the attempt he made for the first few seconds. Medium used is conducted in English if you wonder.

Stand up for a song. *couldn't recall what song was it, but it's about praising the All mighty* See the tiny spot he's standing on? Every members of the playgroup were given one each. Adam stands and watch. When the music starts, all the kids geared towards the rhythm. He loves musics.

Engaging friend to join him. Parents are allowed in the class. Adam was the youngest of course wherein the rest of the participants already talking instead of babbling and understand simple straight instructions.

Adam start to play around. He got bored during the story-telling slots. Too much for him to absorb perhaps. So, he find comfort in exploring the surroundings. The teacher's magic box has loads of treasures, to his amuse.

See? He's proud to be the center of attraction. Sooo ayah! haha. He couldn't care less. He had always been frazzled running from one thing to another. I want to do, what i want to do. He follows what was being instructed for like 10 good seconds, before parting himself for new discovery. The musings triggered his happiness. Thank God he didn't pull tantrums on the day.

Drawing slots. Apart from sing a song and story telling, the kids got goofed with drawings. with crayons frantically. They were asked to recognize glimpse of faces i.e happy and sad even were taught to mimicked them. This is Adam's art-work. With mommy's touch of course. It wouldn't look rather nice if wouldn't. :p

Overall, it was a splendid morning to start of the Saturday with given the quality time understanding the behavior of your own blood flesh and seeing the way he connect himself to the surroundings especially in meeting new people. A pat on his back. No tantrums, no whines, no drama wails. *ouh thank God again*. The ordeal went well and i gleamed in pride seeing he composed himself. He is starting to develop the person he is. Oh boy, you're grown up! *mommy criess*

and a moment after, immediately dozed off in the car. kepenatan belajar agaknye :p

wordless wednesday # 9

buai laju laju

after a long pause of what to do for the weekend, suddenly "ting".. tinker bell rings! bulb of my innovative mind work. ssshhh, it works in mysterious way you know..ok, i decided to throw adam boy on a swing. he has never been on a swing before. wonder how would he react to it..so, coax hubby as early as 9am to get dress for the park. he asked, why laa must go to the park? why can't we go to other place? other than park, at least? well, it's the swing for god sake.. where else got swing kan? it was just nearby, here.

yeayy...nak pegi mana dulu ye? hrmm.

tour tour tour and look around and run!

adam got contented. he was babbling and laughing all. he loved it! if he were to talk, i bet he would have said,  thank you mom for this place. awesome cool. you're the best mom.

the smile that i always couldn't get enough of it

unlike the swing, he was too terrified being on this slide. refuse to sit and wailing for a hand to couch him out of the slide.

we were there for approximate good half and hour only since it was scorching hot. So before hubby comes and complaint he got tanned bla bla, or later insist i buy him any whitening cream, we better be, pave our way back home. the sun were soo friendly and comes too near to us. Adam, next time mommy promise will bring you here again. Or tell you what dear, let's us both be nice to ayah so he would be generous enough to buy you one of this? no? ahhaahaha, ayah'll go madness reading this :p

mama

Mother's day yeayy! second celebration for me. they say, the day a baby is born, a mother is also born.. yeah, make sense la of course...  i remember during my before puberty age, where i was all comot, i used to do my DIY mother's day card to mom. and she'll go "oh, how sweet..very lovely, thank you daughter" and i went blush and self proud. i brag about it all week. especially to my two brothers. because they did nothing for mom. so i went saying mom love them less. yeah, we were like cats and dogs those days.

For this year, nothing lavish to complement BUT we manage to make up for a cheerful and cozy one. uncle and cousins drop by at our place, so we tag them along for dinner. the waiter rolled his eye big when we requested a table for 16..no, we did not made any reservations. and glad the cafe did accommodate us. we talked, we laughed, cheer the company we had for the night, and eat and continue eating until the clock strikes 11..whoaa! we are family!

Sorry mom, your ONE and ONLY daughter have nothing lavish for you. BUT i promise you, my LOVE i have for you is beyond the luxurious amount of the royal wedding at Buckingham Palace. i know i don't say it often, and i don't say it loud. action speaks louder.. that is ETERNAL LOVE mom.. sincere from your daughter.

the moment that i will forever ignites!.
during akad. i cried like i would never see mom again! make up all dash out. Couldn't help thou. it was the moment of life, transiting to all a different level of life. even mom couldn't hold hers back. safe keep in heart moment i name it.
Mom, your love and affection has made me what i am today.

with love,
your one and only daughter.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO MIL TOO
